Struggling with anxiety and/or depression can feel very overwhelming and challenging, as it usually impacts other areas of people’s lives.
You may feel trapped by your emotions, struggling with excessive worry, and/or experience a deep sense of sadness or emptiness. This can make you feel drained and it may be difficult to go about your every day life. You may also have difficulty concentrating and making decisions.
Some of the physical symptoms that may be manifested as a cause of anxiety and depression are: headaches, muscle aches, stomach discomfort, restlessness, rapid heartbeat, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, and change in appetite.

Grief comes in waves and it’s a very personal process that looks different for everyone. Even though everyone’s grief journey is unique, most of the time it’s accompanied by feelings of sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, denial, loneliness, worry, and anxiety.
You may feel isolated and experience difficulty concentrating, making decisions, and accepting your new reality.
Some physical manifestations of grief can include difficulty sleeping, restlessness, fatigue, headaches, change in appetite and, in some cases, chest pain and/or shortness of breath.

Trauma can manifest differently in everyone and will depend on the traumatic event that was experienced, but some common feelings include: anxiety, anger, fear, constant worry, guilt/shame, and a sense of vulnerability and losing control, which can lead to feeling numb or disconnected from yourself or others.
You may feel constantly on edge, have an increased sense of alertness and difficulty sleeping, experience headaches, muscle tension, and digestive issues as well as avoid people, places, and/or activities that can be triggering.
All of this, along with intrusive/negative thoughts or memories, can feel overwhelming and impact your ability to function in every day life.

Trauma can have a powerful impact in our lives, affecting emotions, relationships, and overall sense of self. TF-CBT is a proven treatment that helps individuals by decreasing trauma symptoms, improving emotional regulation, restoring daily function, and increasing self esteem. I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment, where you can process traumatic experience/s and move toward healing and empowerment.
Grief Counseling
Grief is a deeply personal journey and it’s usually accompanied by strong emotions, which can feel overwhelming. My goal is to provide a supportive and safe space, where you can express your feelings without fear of judgment and work on understanding the grieving process, gradually adjust to the new reality, and restore a sense of well-being, by learning practical coping strategies and fostering self care and self compassion practices to move toward healing.
